Selecting Prices

With a possible price for every item in every region, how do the Eve-MEEP tools know what price to use? There are 2 methods that can be used. The first method, and the one used by most of the tools, is a default region and price type for buying and selling. These defaults are found in the preferences window (Tools>Preferences).

As you can see, the default region is set to ‘The Forge’, and the default math is Buy and Sell Mean. All the plugins that do not specifically ask you for this information can be assumed to be using these defaults.

The second method is by the plugin directly specifying what type and kind of price it wants. I know, these are not two very distinct methods, but if all of the sudden a calculator comes along asking you to select this information, it probably is for a good reason and the other tools are not broken.
