Inventory

How It Works

Eve-MEEP incorporates the Eve-Online assets API, which pulls a full list of every item you own, and where it is. This list however is only available once every 24 hours. Eve-MEEP attempts to fill the blanks between updates using a variety of other APIs and methods, keeping the data as accurate as possible for a third-party program.

Transactions API is updated every hour and gives a full list of items that are bought or sold on the market. Eve-MEEP takes the items you have bought and adds them to the assets list, while removing assets that are sold. When you put items up for sale on the market using sell orders, Eve-MEEP updates itself from API information or from the exported orders file if you choose to upload it. Those market orders can also be updated by exporting the prices file from Eve-Online.

Eve-MEEP also utilizes the Science and Industry API, which contains information about every job you run on blueprints, whether it be copying, production, or research. This data lets Eve-MEEP fill in ME/PE levels for blueprints, and runs for blueprint copies. Note that a job must be run on a blueprint before all information on the blueprint can be pulled. Assets are Not reduced on production jobs primarily because Eve-MEEP would not know which assets, in terms of location were used to run the production job.

How To Use It

Your assets are viewed from the Inventory tab on the main screen. There you have an option of searching by item type, or by item location. Sorting by item type appear is done the same way as the Eve-Online market screen. When an item is selected, details about it appear in the space next to the search location. Here a list of all instances of the item are shown along with their location, count, price, and more. Below that is a summary of all data that Eve-Meep has on the item, such as how many are currently being bought and sold by your character and the prices per region.
